General

What is Fetch?

Fetch full-service storage provides safekeeping for your belongings with the added benefit of pickup and delivery services. For prices comparable to self-storage, our customers have their property picked up at their doorstep, securely stored, and delivered again at their request.

What areas do you service?

Fetch Storage provides storage and moving services to the greater Boston region, including Boston, Cambridge, Brookline, Newton, Watertown, Waltham, Wellesley, among others. 

Storage Service

How do I know what size storage unit I need?

Fetch can help you decide! Simply call us (888-610-1684) or click on the "Get A Quote" button and describe the items you would like to store. One of our storage professionals will be able to suggest an appropriate storage size. Even if you are not quite sure, Fetch guarantees to store your belongings in the smallest suitable size, saving you money. 

What happens if my items don’t fit into the storage size I signed up for?

Fetch guarantees to place you in the absolute smallest suitable package so that there is no wasted space. At the time of your initial pickup, our service professionals will be able to inform you if your items will fit in the desired storage package. If the items exceed the size you planned for, you will have the option to simply move up to a larger package, or remove some of your items.

How quickly can I get my items delivered from storage?

In most cases, we can deliver items in 24-48 hours.

Are there any restrictions on what I can add to storage?

Hazardous materials, food, liquids, perishable items, weapons, illegal substances and plants are among the items NOT permitted in our facility.

Our Facility

Is your storage facility temperature controlled?

Yes. Our facility is kept between 54 and 74 degrees Fahrenheit.

Is your facility secure?

Absolutely. We have a state-of-the-art alarm system with motion sensors and contact sensors which is tied directly to the police and fire departments (both less than 2 minutes away).

How are my items stored in your facility?

Items are unloaded from our trucks and bundled together with shrink wrap by trained professionals. They are then placed in a designated storage area that is only for your items. Blankets or other protective supplies will be used to protect any fragile or sensitive items.

Does Fetch provide moving services without storage?

We certainly do. We are a team of licensed movers and provide residential and commercial moving within Massachusetts. Check out our Moving Services page.

Pricing and Payment

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, personal checks and wire transfers.

I see your storage rates, but how much is pickup and delivery?

Insurance/Protection

Is Fetch fully licensed and insured?

Absolutely. We carry cargo, general liability, and workers' compensation policies. Fetch Storage, LLC is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilitiesas a carrier, MDTE #31538 and public warehouseman license #784.

Are there any items that are excluded from claims?

Yes. Unfortunately there are certain types of items that simply do not hold up, even if they are professionally packed. Please talk to a Fetch representative for further information.

Are my items protected under Fetch's insurance?

While our team at Fetch has an extraordinary record of providing damage-free moving and storage, on occasion accidents do happen. For those rare occurences, Fetch provides basic coverage under State Law at no charge. This coverage protects your property with a maximum liability of $0.60 per pound, up to a maximum of $200 per item and a maximum of $2000 per lot. Extended protection against potential loss or damage beyond basic coverage (including fire, theft, natural disaster, etc) is available at an additional charge of $10/month per $1000 of coverage.
